Batgung

This is a lovely part of the Green Trail, starting from next to the May Road stop of the Peak Tram.  About a 20 minute walk up the peak to Barker Road, you end up at the old Victoria Hospital for woman and children (famous from "love is a many splendoured thing). You can then carry on Barker road to the peak, or go up Hospital Path. At the top is a nice green grass patch.

If you stop by the EPD in Wan Chai (old postoffice next to HOpewell centre), they give you a nice kit with information on the trees, fauna and fauna you find on the trail, included a magnifying glass which the kids loved)
