I am now in the Netherlands, and engaged in writing a thesis about comparing the freedom of school choice in Hong Kong with that in Holland.
Are there anybody can give me some ideas?
Do parents in Hong kong feel totally free to choose elementary and secondary school for their children?

Do some research...

"Do parents in Hong kong feel totally free to choose elementary and secondary school for their children?"

No, just like parents in all locations we are constrained by what the state system provides and the rules by which provision is made; by our economic situation (a multi-millionaire might feel more "free" because $ concerns need not be a high priority in choosing a private or DSS school); and our hopes, fears, and beliefs about education in general and the schools that provide it.

I suggest you do more reasearch before posting such vague questions.
