The reason for doing this is to try and add some buzz to the Asian blogging scene and also increase awareness of blogs from around the region in other parts of the region as well as enable us to celebrate the efforts of so many people without being diulted as a bolt on to the much bigger environment in the US.
The more votes and nominees the better it looks.
