School open days: what to look for
Submitted by mrb on Thu, 2008-10-30 09:00. Tags: primary schools | SchoolsMost primary schools will have at least one open-day, for parents to visit and take a look around. Here are some suggestions on how to get the most out of the visit.
Introduction

They are written with the non-Hong-Kong-native parent in mind, but they should be helpful to any parent that's starting to get ready for this.

Any experience with ISF
Submitted by gweipo on Tue, 2008-04-15 21:58. Tags: ISF | mandarin primary schools | primary schoolsMy neighbour is thinking of applying to the ISF academy for her daughter. http://www.isf.edu.hk/eng/about_iisfa.html
It looks like a really good option combining bilingual mandarin / english education.
Does anyone have any experience at the school? Are the children happy there? Are there many non-chinese students. Is it a feasible school for parents where neither speak / read / write chinese to any level of proficiency...
Any / all comments welcome.
